LAGOON

Well Thursday my Aunt Jan called and asked if we wanted to go to Lagoon. My cousin Barbara owns Piner Academy of Dance and it was her weekend for her kids to compete at Lagoon. She had some extra tickets and thought we would enjoy them.

So we invited Brigham's brother Steely and his family to come with us. They ended up bringing out their camper and staying at the campground. I am so glad they did we ended up having lunch over at the campground which was alot more relaxing and Zoey got to take a nap out of the sun.

We headed out to SLC Friday morning and hung out with my brothers in Ogden for awhile. Then we headed down to our hotel in SLC. We stayed at the Red Lion Hotel, we got to go swimming and enjoy the jazz game.

We arrived at Lagoon Saturday morning around 11:00 am. We started out on the kiddy rides Zoey wasn't to sure at first but once she knew what to expect we couldn't get her off the rides. She would cry when the ride was over it was so cute to watch. She got to ride most of the rides with her cousin Ellie, they had a blast together.

We planned on leaving Lagoon around 5pm but just couldn't break ourselves away from it. I LOVE lagoon and so does Brigham. So we were having such a great time that no one wanted to leave. We ended up leaving about 9pm but we still had to load up Steely's camper so we left more around 10pm. We got a quick bite to eat at Carl's Jr and then headed for home. We got home around 1:00 am.

This was such a great Mother's Day weekend just spending time with my family. It was so much fun to see Zoey enjoy herself at Lagoon. As well as Brigham he works so hard that he deserves a break once in awhile so this was a well needed family vacation.
