I needed some pictures for our christmas cards so we decided to go snap a few at the temple i think they turned out pretty good for my kids being cold!

Zoeys 3rd birthday!!

I asked Zoey where she wanted to have her birthday party this year and she initially said the park, since it was WAY to cold for that she decided on "Old MacDonald's house." She is so obsessed with McDonald so we thought it would be so much fun to do her party there. She had such a good time, thanks everyone for coming!

HORRAY for finally getting my computer back! Slade managed to pull it off the counter and break it... i never realized how much i depend on this dang thing!

Disney On Ice Princess Classic

On Saturday we took Zoey to the Disney on Ice, she has been so excited to go since we told her we were going everyday she would ask "is today princess day?" Well we initially were going to leave Slade with my mom and just take Zoey since this was to be "HER" weekend. We got these tickets as part of her birthday present. But we decided to take Slade.. It was pretty good weather until we hit Parleys canyon and had a total white out! We went 20mph the whole way through the canyon it was really scary at times. I'm just glad Brigham was with me driving or i think i might have just pulled over and cried! We made it to SLC and met up with my brother Brett for lunch we went to Skybox to watch BYU play and eat it was so much fun hanging out with him and watching the game.
Then it was time for THE PRINCESS'S! We put on Zoeys tinkerbell dress and headed over she was so excited we got all sorts of junk and went and found our seats that were AMAZING by the way! ROW 11!! we could see everything! We go to sit down and Zoey was so exited! "oh mommy! A castle!" then mickey and Minnie came out and I don't think she took her eyes off of the ice for one second! Slade did really well too he fell asleep half way through but he was so enthralled he loved all the lights.
All in all we had a great trip! I LOVE doing this kind of stuff with my kids! I remember still when my parents to me and my brothers to the icecapades and got us all fanny packs! It was such great memories now I'm so thankful I am able to do this kind of stuff with my kids!

Halloween

We had such a fun Halloween this year my sister in law and her kids were out so on Halloween day we went over to my moms to decorate cookies and have a craft day. The girls got to decorate cookies as well as make a bracelet. Zoey loves when her cousins come out they have so much fun!
We then took the kids to our wards trunk or treat at our church and went to a few family members house. Slade really didn't want to wear his costume he just wanted to eat all the candy. And Zoey didn't want to leave hers on either so it was a very short night of trick or treating.
Slade is at the age where he hates to sit still so this is usually how my pictures turn out! He is our little wild man!!

My brother Tyler

Let me just tell you a little bit about my brother Tyler..
He lives in Ogden with his wife Beth and has 2 beautiful girls KD and Kambre and a little handsome boy Kohen.
He has been going to school since he came home from his mission so probably about 8 years not all 8 years has been full time. But he has been working his tail off to become an Anesthesiologist. He first went and got his LPN here at the USU extension, he was selected to be the valedictorian for his graduating class. Then him and my sister in law Beth moved to Ogden so he could further his education out there and graduated in 2007 with his Bachelors in nursing.
And since he has graduated he has been working in the ICU at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden while he has been taking his tests and putting in applications for anesthesiology program. He just got accepted into the Anesthesiology program for grad school in Beaumont Michigan. He could have just taken the easy road and went to school here in Utah at Westminster which isn't a bad program just not the program for him. He decided that he wanted to go to one of the best schools and get the best schooling there was to offer for anesthesiology.

He is one of the hardest working guys I know, he took on such a hard field to pursue in and doesn't just slide on by in it either. He has been an outstanding student and has gotten outstanding grades! I don't think I have ever heard him complain about work over-load or just being stressed out. With him working at McKay Dee Hospital he works nights there so after he works nights he comes home and gets a few hours of sleep and is back at it again! And for him not to complain is outstanding! Because everyone knows how much I would be complaining! And Beth is the same with not complaining, with Tyler being gone so much at nights she just goes on like nothing! They are such an amazing family! I am proud to call them my own!

I am so proud of my brother for pursuing his passion. He loves to help people and I know he will be a great anesthesiologist! I am going to miss them like crazy but this just means that i will have to visit alot!

We caught the "BUG"

Well I haven't blogged lately mainly because we have been so sick. I haven't been sick for 2 years and when i get sick I GET SICK!
It all started that Slade started having a runny nose which isn't out of the norm for him since he has allergies and all the sudden here came this horrible cough. Then Zoey caught it and not soon after i caught it. I wasn't too worried about it until zoey started coughing so hard that she would make herself sick. So we went to the urgent care on Monday night, I don't usually like going places like this because you usually catch something else while you are there. But since Slade has had pneumonia 3 times now I thought I better jump on it before it gets any worse. Well it ended up that Slade was on the verge of pneumonia again so they started him on nebulizor treatments. Zoey had a really bad viral bug, and I had the same bug just a bit more advanced.
So they sent us home with some prescriptions and by Wednesday Zoey was alot worse than all of us. He at first thought that she was the best out of all of us since we caught hers before it moved to her lungs. Well it eventually went to her lungs and she started a fever and it peaked out at 104 so he started her on an antibiotic and nebulizor treatments as well. She has since been getting gradually better and so has Slade. We all still have the cough but we don't really feel to sick anymore. It has been one heck of a week! We honestly haven't gone ANYWHERE for over a week.
But we are feeling much better and hopefully we are on the outs of this sickness!

Cancer

We lost a GREAT friend on Wednesday, she was such an inspiration to many and will greatly be missed.

When I first met MarShel i was so jealous of the relationship her and my husband shared. They were so close and I often thought that maybe they were meant to be together. I then got to know MarShel more and more and fell in love with her as well. She was one of the funniest people I know. She had that contagious laughter then when she laughed everyone else was laughing. She had the funniest jokes as well. I remember we were house sitting her sister Nicki's house while they were out of town. And MarShel, Brigham, me, and her then husband Joe busted out rockband and sat there and jammed/laughed for hours. She is such a great woman and fough a couragous battle.

Brigham and Marshel were like brother and sister, they grew up together and eventually Brighams sister Roxanna married Marshel's brother Leif. There has always been that bond between the four of them that is indesrcibable. I am so greatful that I go to know such an amazing person.

This is my letter to Marshel..
Marshel-
When I first met you I was so scared of the connection you shared with Brigham, I often wondered if it was you two that were meant to be together. I then learned this connection was love that you had for each other because you were like brother and sister. Then my love for you grew and grew to where you were like family also.
You are such an incrediable woman, and such an inspiration to us all.
Your smile was my favorite! It was so contagious everytime you would smile you would light up the whole room. Im going to miss that smile and your laughter.
Im so glad we got to see you last week, you looked so amazing! It was great to just sit there for awhile and reminice about the trouble you, brigham, aaron, and ryan used to cause. My favortie was trying to sell them Basil and told them it was marijuana. That was you though hilarious! You were such a great friend to Brigham, he adores you so much! Thank you so much for being there for him. We love you so much and are going to miss you greatly. But it brings us peace knowing that you are up in heaven watching over us and dancing your arse off!!!
We love you Marshel! And will miss you deeply!

A day on the mountain

My brothers came out this weekend for Brett's hunt well they got the deer early so we still had time to play!

Zoey looks forward towhen her cousins KD and Kambre get to come out to Vernal. She loves to play with them. And usually we dont even hear from the girls while they are playing unless they need to go potty or its time to eat. They just go go go non stop

On Saturday we went up to Beth's family cabin to go ride horses. Zoey was so unsure about the horses that she didnt want to get on but KD and Kambre sure loved getting on the horses. I didnt get very many pictures but what i did get are so adorable!

Zoey's first day of dance

Zoey started her first day of dance last week. She took dance this summer a couple times but we were just too busy to go all the time. She was so excited when I told her we were going to dance. Everyday after that it has been "We going to dance today?"
Zoey's teacher is my cousin Barbara so it was nice that Zoey already knew her. She has been going through this shy phase lately but believe me we got to dance the first words out of her mouth were "bye mommy!" She is such a little character!




These next pictures i snuck I thought they were so cute, i was inside folding clothes and looked up and had to run and get the camera. Zoey is such a daddy's girl!!

Kids say the darnest things!

Well i had to blog about this Zoey has started saying the funniest things.

We went to the library one day and as i was looking for a book for myself i guess Zoey got bored and i just thought she headed upstairs where she usually goes. I know i know what a horrible mom i just let my child take off, its either that or get told to SHHHHH from my child SCREAMING. Well all of a sudden i hear the elevator ringing then a little voice say "who is it?" then the ringing again, then a little voice "I said who is it?" Well apparently she had gone into the elevator and had got stuck. Yes that is my mischievious child. So i had to go get a library attendant and ask "can you please help me get my child out of the elevator." Just imagine the look I got!
Well she come over to help and I can still hear Zoey in there ringing the bell and say "who is it" i was just laughing and laughing. But i sure did get dirty looks!
Well Zoey made it out of the elevator and I think I may be kicked out of the library forever from the looks i was getting! This is just a little taste of the stuff my child pulls!

We are driving in the car one day and pass the Water Slide this is our conversation
Zoey: momma i WILLY want to dough to da water swide.
Me: I know zoey but we cant today we just have to much to do
Zoey: Well cant we do dat stuff tomorrow and go to da water swide today?
Me: sis we have to get this stuff done today and your daddy still isnt home from work
Zoey: Well mom brother Willy wants to go to the swide too
Geez what am i supposed to say to that?

We were driving home from Ogden because my brother just had his little boy and Zoey said "mom that baby was just teeny tiny huh"
Me: yup he is just little like you were when you were born.
Zoey: nope im a big girl now i go poop in the potty
Me: yup you are a big girl now but you used to be little
Zoey: nope just a big girl
Zoey hey momma we went to the hospital when brother was born huh
Me: yes i had brother at the hospital too
Zoey he had a hook on his belly button
Me: yes he did
It amazes me the things this child remembers! We cant spank her bum or she tells everyone I beat her!!! I find myself everyday just laughing at the things she says and does!

Kohen Ray Wilhelm

My brother and sister in law Tyler and Beth had their baby on August 20th he weighed 7lbs and 5 oz and was 19 inches long.

He is such a good baby we just LOVE him!!

Bear lake and Lagoon Weekend

On Wednesday the 12th I took off to Ogden so we could get ready for Bear Lake on Thursday the 13th. We had such a ball up there we stayed at the cabin, rode 4 wheelers, rode jet skies, and ate raspberry shakes from La Beaus MMMM...

Saturday we all went to Lagoon it was such a perfect day it had rained in the morning but we got to lagoon at like 11 and the weather wasnt to hot or to cold just PERFECT! Yhe kids were so much fun to watch this year Zoey had a blast with her cousins going on EVERY ride there was!
