My Dad

I wanted to do a post about my dad being that Sunday was fathers day and all.
Alot of you that read my blog know my dad and know what an amazing man he is.

I had the best childhood growing up, my dad was so good to us. He was always there for everything that us kids were involved in. Whether it was softball, football, baseball, cheerleading anything he was there supporting us 110%. I remember when I decided to do cheerleading I thought my dad was going to flip out because I wasn't going to be doing sports which I always had done my whole life. Well he was there helping decorate, learning a dance for our daddy daughter dances, as well as being my personal bank. haha

My dad loves to be up on the mountain whether its camping, hunting, fishing, etc. So when I was little we were always up on the mountain hanging out. These are some of my fondest memories, just being with our family and having a good time.

Dad you truly are the best dad, you have always supported me through everything. I hope you have a great fathers day and always know that we love you!!

MY HUBBY

Brigham's birthday was on the 5th of this month, which I had planned on doing a post about, but just kinda spaced it. So I am going to combine my fathers day post and Brigham's birthday.

I truly think that I have the best husband in the world!! And no I am not being biast or anything. He is such a great father to Zoey, she has him twirled around her little finger. She is such a daddy's little girl, she loves to just be with him. It doesn't matter what they are doing together you can just tell that she loves to be with her dadda.

Brigham is such a great provider for our family, I am lucky enough that I don't have to work. I worked there for a little bit while we were buying our house, and it was pretty hard to leave Zoey at the babysitters. But we finally came to the decision that we would sacrifice the extra money I brought in and I would just stay home with Zoey. Brigham has taken on 2 jobs before just so we wouldn't have to put Zoey in daycare. He works so hard and I know I don't show him enough the gratitude which he deserves.

Our Scare!!

Yesterday I must have thought I was super woman or something. Let me explain I have this changing table I bought from Kmart that is really cute and convenient but the drawers don't hold much weight, I have broken almost every drawer in the changing table. So my plan was to load the changing table in the back of the truck and take it up to Arn's Wood Shop. Arn has been really good to us, he totally repaired the first shelf that looked like a Lion had chewed it up. So he told me to bring the others up and he would fix them.

Well I started to help Brigham lift this "big huge" (okay i'm exagerating a little)changing table into the back of the truck and didn't really think anything of it. I felt a little pressure "down under" but again didn't think anything of it.

I got to my mom and dad's house to take the truck back, I went to go use the restroom and there was blood. I thought to myself "oh shit what did I do?" I called my sister in law Evelyn who is a nurse in the OB(thank heavens for her!!) and she says to lay down and drink LOTS of water. In the meantime I called Dr. Breitenbach and they asked me to come right down.

I have to say that I just knew that I put myself in labor. I was having contractions randomly and the pain "down under" was unbearable.

I went to the doctors office and had Dr.Breitenbach check me. Luckily I wasn't in labor, I had just pulled some muscles from where my c-section scar is and they think the bleeding was from the pressure on the cervix from lifting.
Needless to say I am SUPER sore today and I also realized that I am NOT super women.
